Food is essential for survival. So, even if you have lost your income, you should not skip meals. There are many community organisations offering food relief in Victoria. Do not get hungry due to lack of money. There is more help available than you expect. Please, do not be scared to reach out. We are all in this together!

There is more than just food relief. If you need some free food supply, select “Food” and then enter the information required, such as post code or type of food relief you need. After that, you will get a list of places you can contact for food relief.
You may already be familiar with Study Melbourne by now. They provide a lot of information for international students and give support, not only during COVID-19, but always. On their website, there is a list of places where you can get food relief.

Lentil as Anything is a non-profit organisation whose mission is to provide health meals to those vulnerable. They have 3 pay-as-you-feel restaurants in Melbourne. If you have lost your job and struggle to pay for the food, then you can simply just get free meals from them. However, if you can afford to contribute, you are more than welcome to donate as well.

Each website has a phone number or email. It is highly recommended to contact the place before you go there to avoid any disappointment as some of them might operate in different times due to COVID-19.
